About Leslie Conner
Leslie Conner is a mystery and thriller writer. She is currently working on the last book of the Lexie Garner trilogy.
Her novel, As Long as They Lived, was a finalist in the 2022 Killer Nashville Claymore Award for Best Mystery, and she is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime.

You get drawn into the characters and truly care for them. The twists and turns and interweaved stories leave you guessing where it's going. It's not until the very end when all the pieces fall into place. I can't wait to read the next one!
As a police officer, I am always leery of how our day to day interactions are portrayed. Devil's Charm does an excellent job of covering "police work." The stoicism and inability to talk about tragic events are expressed as if the author has some police experience.
Once again, this author did not disappoint. I was excited to get the second book, and I finished it in two days. I tried to pace myself, but I didn't want to put it down! The characters and conflicts are so well written throughout.
